The Morinville Community Cultural Centre
This all-inclusive event space hosts a number of events throughout the year, while still providing locals with an opportunity to rent it for private events and functions. The MCC is no stranger to weddings, banquets and conferences in town! They’ve also been known to host events and workshops like the “Telus Wise Seniors Workshop” to empower local seniors with digital safety tips and training for babysitters and teens who are starting to stay home alone. Morinville Town Events
Experience the charm of Morinville’s town events, including the Morinville Farmers Market every Sunday from May to October, offering fresh local produce and artisan creations. The town also hosts the “Lite Up the Nite” festival during the last weekend of November, featuring dazzling Christmas light displays, a parade with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a breathtaking fireworks display.

Meadows of Morinville also partakes in Jandel Homes’ annual Fill A House Campaign and partners with local charities in the Town of Morinville and Sturgeon County to help families in need at Christmas. This annual campaign is put on around the same time as the Town’s Lite Up the Nite festival, where the entire Town of Morinville comes together to ensure all residents have the Christmas they deserve.

The Rendez-Vous Centre
This is a place for residents of Morinville and surrounding areas who are 50+ to come together for social and recreational opportunities. There is no shortage of events happening at The Rendez-Vous Centre! Their club activities include Bridge, floor curling, the Morinville Minstrels Choir, coffee time, movie nights, a literary society, military whist, a quilting club, euchre, pickle ball, knitting club, cribbage, scrapbooking, card bingo, Mahjong and jigsaw puzzles.
Local Trail System, Cardiff Park & Golf Course
Explore Morinville’s top-ranked trail system, a 5 km paved multi-use trail for walking, running, or cycling. Outside town, Cardiff Park offers summer activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing, with winter options for skating and ice fishing.
